ROBIN WATSON
Development Director
Robin is passionate about storytelling, equity in the arts, and women’s empowerment in film. With a strong background in nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, and community engagement, Robin brings a wealth of experience in strategic development, fundraising, and advocacy to the Nevada Women’s Film Festival and Women In Film Nevada.
Most recently, Robin served as the Director of Development for CORE Powered by the Rogers Foundation, where they led initiatives to advance educational access and community impact. Before that, Robin held executive roles in nonprofit and higher education organizations, focusing on strengthening institutional growth, fostering partnerships, and driving mission-driven innovation.
A dedicated champion of amplifying underrepresented voices, Robin has worked extensively to support marginalized communities, expand educational opportunities, and promote creative expression. Through strategic leadership, Robin has successfully cultivated partnerships, increased funding opportunities, and created platforms for emerging artists and changemakers.
As a board member, Robin is committed to furthering the festival’s mission of celebrating and promoting the achievements of women in film while ensuring more excellent representation and opportunities for female filmmakers in Nevada and beyond.
