About the
Nevada Women’s
Film Festival
The Nevada Women’s Film Festival (NWFFest) is an annual event dedicated to advancing equity in film by amplifying the voices of women and historically underrepresented storytellers. Since its founding in 2015, NWFFest has showcased films from around the world while fostering dialogue through screenings, panels, discussions, and community events.
NWFFest is produced by Women in Film Nevada, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and proud chapter of Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI). The festival partners with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Cinematic Arts to provide high-quality programming that celebrates diverse perspectives and supports emerging and established filmmakers. NWFFest has become a much-loved cultural event in Southern Nevada, engaging artists, students, and audiences through storytelling that reflects the complexity of the human experience.
