NEVADA WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL
The 9th Annual Nevada Women’s Film Festival returns to fabulous Las Vegas June 22-25, 2023!
This year our event takes place at the UNLV Department of Film and features 108 films, by and about women, from all over the world.

Highlights include our 2023 Nevada Woman of Achievement, Berenice Chávez, who will be honored for her outstanding work as an editor. Berenice’s credits include the Netflix documentary, Pamela, a Love Story. A special screening of this film will be shown in conjunction with a conversation with Berenice on Friday night, followed by our Filmmakers’ Mixer at Tuscany!
Our Saturday evening Vanguard Event features the Nevada Premiere of Miranda’s Victim, a powerful historical drama with an all-star cast. Filmmaker Michelle Danner and lead actress Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) are our 2023 Vanguard Award honorees for their work on this film, and will sit down with Dr. Heather Addison for an in-depth conversation about the experience.
Our festival concludes on Sunday with the Ninth Annual Femmy Awards. Check out the incredible nominees and winners!

FDH is located in the southwest area of campus alongside Maryland Pkwy right next to the Student Union. It is the tallest building on campus.
If using GPS, please enter “Flora Dungan Humanities” rather than the university address or you may be directed to the wrong building.
PARKING
Free parking is limited to Parking Lot D in front of the Flora Dungan Humanities (FDH) building on Thursday, 6/22 before 5 PM and Friday, 6/23 before 1 PM, so please be sure to park in that lot only. Any time after those hours OR on Saturday, 6/24 and Sunday, 6/25, you may park anywhere else on campus!
