Synopsis

37-year-old Belma’s self-confidence gets damaged when the doctor -she went for her skin rash problem- tells her that she should get botox. Suddenly, she becomes a woman who is uncomfortable in her skin. She gets botox but things do not go as her expected. She finds herself in a nightmare she never expected.

After completing her B.A. in Naval Architecture at Istanbul Technical University, she started the M.A. program in Cinema at Kadir Has University and Documentary Photography training at Galata Photography Studio. In 2017, she completed her feature documentary called Her First about the challenges faced by women filmmakers in Turkey. Recently completed her first fiction short, Plastic Dream. She continues her work as a writer & director.

İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Gemi İnşaatı Fakültesi’nden mezun olduktan sonra Kadir Has Üniversitesi’nde Sinema yüksek lisansını ve Galata Fotoğrafhanesi’nde Belgesel Fotoğrafçılık eğitimlerini tamamladı. 2017 yılında Türkiyeli yönetmen kadınların set deneyimlerini anlatan Onun Filmi isimli uzun metraj belgesel filmini bitirdi. Yakın zamanda Plastik Rüya isimli ilk kurmaca kısa metrajını tamamladı. Yazar & yönetmen olarak çalışmalarına devam ediyor.
