2026 Young Filmmakers' Project: The Story of Me
YOUNG FILMMAKERS’ WORKSHOP
The Story of Me is our 2026 Young Filmmakers’ Project! WIF Nevada partnered with the Center for the Future of Learning for a documentary boot camp, hosted by THIRD Street in Las Vegas. The program gave teens the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking by creating films inspired by their own personal stories. We are grateful for this collaboration and for helping empower the next generation of storytellers.
Classic Hollywood Series
UNLV FILM THURSDAYS
WIF Nevada and UNLV Film Thursdays launched their Classic Hollywood Series with a celebration of cinema’s golden age. The event featured a free screening of Bombshell (1933), a pre-Code screwball romantic comedy directed by Victor Fleming and starring the legendary Jean Harlow.

On September 25th, WIF Nevada took over UNLV Film Thursday to launch our “Best of Fest” series, highlighting UNLV Film alums! This year Best Feature Documentary winner Ali Eats America and the short student documenter I Exist were screened.
