VOLUNTEER

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Nevada Women’s Film Festival (NWFFest)! We accept volunteers year-round and are currently seeking volunteers for our upcoming 2027 festival next March. Join our team and help support independent storytellers, empower underrepresented voices, and contribute to an unforgettable festival experience.

Below are some of the volunteer roles and opportunities available at NWFFest:

Volunteer Roles & Opportunities

Events Manager

Join the planning committee and help manage the logistics of the entire event!

Box Office & Sales

Manage ticketing at festival venues, greet attendees, answer questions and provide excellent guest service.

Sell NWFFest merchandise such as T-shirts and raffle tickets while helping promote festival initiatives.

Greeters & Guest Flow

Welcome festival guests, manage venue flow, usher attendees to screenings, assist during panel Q&As and other general assistance.

Videography

Capture b-roll, interviews, and festival moments. Assist with editing content used for the website, promotions, and social media.

Photography

Document the festival through high-quality photos of red carpet arrivals, Q&A sessions, panels, events and parties. Photos may be used on the NWFFest website and social media.

Promotions 

Assist in social media, festival-related vlog or blog posts, filmmaker interviews, event recaps and film reviews to help extend NWFFest’s storytelling online.

Graphics Assistant

Assist with printing and preparing posters, badges, and other festival materials, as well as providing graphics or production support.

General Support

Support the festival team by assisting with errands and a variety of on-site or last-minute needs, including event set-up, breakdown, check-in, guest support, and logistics during the fest and throughout the year.

Special Events: Young Filmmakers’ Project

Support workshops, activities, and the annual showcase for young creatives participating in our education and mentorship programs.
