Jawsh Ojeda is a producer, director, and writer working in independent cinema with a focus on character-driven narratives and visceral realism. A graduate of Vancouver Film School’s class of 2015, he has spent the past decade telling stories about outsiders navigating systems that promise freedom while demanding sacrifice. His feature film First Friday has been released, marking his emergence in feature-length storytelling. His short film Raven’s Room is currently on the film festival circuit. Ojeda’s work centers on figures at the margins, shaped by the pull between aspiration and consequence, and interrogates identity, power, and survival in contemporary American life.
